Zadig & Voltaire This Is Her Eau de Parfum 100ml Spray

This Is Her! came out in 2016. It's a warm, creamy scent for women who want something sweet that doesn't smell like dessert.

It opens with pink pepper and jasmine sambac, so the first few minutes are bright and slightly spicy. As it settles, chestnut and whipped cream come through with soft vanilla. The chestnut is what people tend to notice. It gives a nutty, toasted warmth that sets this apart from the usual vanilla perfumes. Sandalwood and cashmere wood sit underneath and keep the sweetness in check, leaving a smooth, woody finish on the skin.

It suits autumn and winter best, when the warmth really comes out. A couple of sprays is enough for daytime and the office. Add another for evenings. It stays close to the skin rather than filling a room, and lasts well through the day.

The bottle is chunky frosted white glass with a raw, uneven edge, and it looks good on a dressing table.
